The Amherst County Campaign Song was written by St Klone for The Gazette, a Lexington newspaper, in August of 1903. It is filled with oblique references to the activities and high feelings associated with the Judge Campbell-Reverend Crawford incident. In 1913, Emma Ellis Saunders created a scrapbook of her activities in Amherst County. Many thanks to Charles Strickler for providing images of her scrapbook and to his family for so graciously sharing it.

This scrapbook of Wood family members has been graciously donated by Bill McLean.

Donated by Elsie Carpenter of Monroe, this postcard album primarily contains correspondence of Kate Dillard of Roseland, many of them with friends from Lithia, Virginia.
